Masterclass with Darren Ashford in Reykjavik

During the Masterclass, held in a music school center in Reykjavik, the Top 5 (finalists) will have the opportunity to play together with Darren Ashford, and get first hand tips on drum miking provided by a Shure Sound Engineer. The Masterclass also serves as the warm-up for the Drum Battle at the following day.

Participation Drum Battle

The drum battle will be held in a club in Reykjavik, where the finalists compete against each other. In the end, the local audience will select the winner who can then choose products from the Shure portfolio up to a value of 5.000 €.

Best performer under 20

Due to unfortunate legal requirements if you are under 20 years of age you will not be permitted to reach the finals of this competition. However, don't let this stop you from entering - we have a seperate prize for the best entrant under the age of 20.
